How To Generate Effective Free Website Traffic

How To Generate Effective Free Website Traffic

If you are like me, then you want to get as much traffic out of your site and get it for free. As you know traffic is the lifeblood of your business, without it you have no business. So how do you get the traffic you need and how do you get the website traffic for free?

There are a number of ways in which you can generate free website traffic, the first being with articles. Article writing is by far the best way to generate consistent free long-term traffic to your site. Articles, once released will stay on the web indefinitely. A well-written article may even be published. The more well written articles you can release the better. Articles will also provide back links to your sites, in order to accomplish this you must make sure that you include a link to your site in your bio.

Participating in forums/social networks that are relevant to your niche is also another great form of free website traffic. Make sure that you are providing genuine useful input to the community. You should start off by trying to answer questions to other members. Once you have developed a standing in the community, you can then proceed to plug your site.

Blogging if done correctly can help to generate free traffic to your site. It is a bit difficult to quantify the direct effects of blogging. A common practice to generate traffic with blogs is the blog and ping method. Ping o Matic is a great site to assist with pinging your recent blogs. Your blog can be a great way to showcase your products or articles. You are also able to insert as many links to your sites or products as you wish.

Social bookmarking has also been used to assist in generating free website traffic. It is recommended to join as many groups as possible. Onlywire is a great service, which will facilitate sending out your bookmarks to your registers groups. It is recommended to bookmark all pages of your website. You can also bookmark your blogs, your articles and etc…

You can also “steal” traffic from big name sites or blogs. I urge you to seek out additional high-traffic sites that allow visitors to post comments, write product reviews, and answer questions. What you can do is seek out products or questions that are specific to your market, and get traffic by writing your own reviews and answering people’s questions.

How To Make an Irresistible Offer

How To Make an Irresistible Offer

So you have taken your time to study your product. You have built a list of prospects, and now you are ready to make them your offer. In order to capture leads and convert those leads into customers, you need to create and present your front-end offer from your own website. This is the landing page from which you will present your irresistible offer.

In order for your offer to be successful you need to consider the following 7 questions:

1. Do you have a compelling headline in your offer? This is the first thing your visitor will notice when she/he reaches your site. Your headline needs to grab their attention right away and raise their interest enough to keep them reading the rest of your page.
2. Do you have a clear offer? Your visitor needs to see why and how opting in to your list will benefit them. What will they receive when they join? What will they learn? How will your information help them?
3. Do you have a call to action? Tell your visitors exactly what to do in order to joining your list. Let them know they must provide their name and e-mail address by filling out your form and submitting the subscription.
4. Do you have the subscription form displayed prominently? Keep in mind that your visitors may not have the time to read your entire page. You need to place the subscription box as high up the page as you can rather than burying it at the end of the page.
5. Do you have a privacy notice and e-mail notice? Remember to use trust-building elements. Always alert your visitors to your op-in policies, and let them know that their information will be kept private. Also, it is a good idea to alert them to the necessity of providing a valid e-mail address.
6. Do you have opt-in bait, such as a bonus or time sensitive offer? These two elements should be considered part of your overall marketing strategy, and you need to have them in place. In other words your claims need to be true. You can get away with stretching the definition of what constitutes a time-sensitive offer, but don’t promise a bonus if you don’t have one to give.
7. Do you have good rules for formatting your website? You will want to make sure that your site is simple and appealing to the eye. Clean, consistent opt-in pages convert much better. Try to avoid clutter and the overuse of graphics.

Keep these 7 questions in your mind at all times while developing your irresistible offer and it will be a success. Remember consistency is key. Most likely, if you are not finding your site attractive than a prospective customer will not.

6 Tactics To Boost Your Website Traffic

6 Tactics To Boost Your Website Traffic

Do you want more traffic to your website? Have you spent many hours trying to figure out how to successfully get traffic to your site? Have you spent countless dollars trying to boost your web traffic? Does this sound familiar; if it does you are not alone. There are numerous people out there in the exact same predicament as you. The following 6 tactics will help boost your website traffic guaranteed.

1. Pay-Per-Click Advertising: Pay-per-click advertising can be both a long-term and short-term traffic boosting strategy. This is because you can control your campaign at will. It all depends on your budget. If you are profiting from your campaign, you can leave it run indefinitely. If you’re on a tight budget, you can run the ads for as long as your budget will allow, then pause your campaign at any time. Pay-per click advertising is often referred to as performance based advertising. Pay-per-click advertising is also one of the quickest ways to boost your website traffic. This is because you are paying to rank high in the search engines.
2. Banner/Text-Link Advertising: Banner/text-link can be done on a short-term basis or on a continual basis if you have the budget for it. This form of adverting can also bring you very good, highly targeted traffic from the market. There are two ways to find banner and text-link advertising opportunities: The first on targeted or market specific Web sites where the owner has implemented advertising opportunities. The other by targeting sites that participate in ad networks. Banner/text-link advertising is also another immediate way to boost your website traffic. Since the advertising is immediate, the results tend to be immediate.
3. E-Zine Advertising: You can advertise in e-zines as often as you like, but I call it a short-term traffic tactic because what usually happens is you get a quick rush of visitors when your ad first appears. It’s not generally a technique for generating continual traffic flow.
4. Article Marketing: Article marketing is “slower” in that you generally don’t get a rush of traffic to your site within minutes or hours of publishing the articles. However, these methods of boosting your traffic are often very effective for building long-term and continuous streams of targeted traffic. Article marketing is by far one of the best ways to drive targeted traffic to your site for the long term.
5. Market Forums/Groups: Forums are in the gray zone because it can be difficult to predict their ability to generate speedy or long-term traffic when so many variables apply. Overall you can expect a nice stream of traffic from within a forum or group, particularly forums and groups where participation is high and members are passionate about their subject of interest.
6. Press Releases: Pres releases also fall into a bit of a gray zone. Well-written, relevant, and timely press releases can bring you a big surge of traffic when the press release first goes out. This is a short-term boost. However, a well-written and keyword-rich release can often rank high in search-engine results. In this case, it acts more like an article and can boost your website traffic over the long-term.

What Is The Key To Online Marketing?

What Is The Key To Online Marketing?

Effectively marketing your product can be a challenge at times. Marketing your product or service online can be an even bigger challenge. It tends to take a lot of effort to get the boulder moving up the hill. Once it does move, it tends to go along with little effort. There are a few key points to successful online marketing.

Marketing online holds many of the same principals that would be incorporated into a brick in mortar storefront. It will take repetition to brand/sell your product(s). Many buyers need to see your product at least seven times before they will commit to purchasing the product. Keep this in mind; it takes at least 7 different marketing efforts to get a sale. Unfortunately, most online marketers never make it this far.

Writing great sales copy is another great tool in successful online marketing. You have to write burning hot sales copy… You need to write as if you are your buyer, what are the benefits, why would you buy the product, how easy is it to buy the product. These factors should be considered at all time when coming up with your sales literature. If you don’t feel that writing burning hot sales literature is you strong suit, you can always outsource this to copywriters. You can find many services online that will take care of this function for you.

List building and keep in constant contact with your list is an essential key to successful key to online marketing. After all, the real money is in your list. These people are already aware of who you are. They have already agreed to opt-in to your newsletter, they are prime targets for your online marketing efforts. The key point to remember with your list is to stay in constant contact. This goes back to the principal above about effective online marketing, it takes seven different points of contact with your product on average to make a sale. So, you can see why staying in contact with your list is critical. Many online marketers make the mistake of contact there list every few weeks or so. This process will be doomed for failure. Your members will forget who you are or why they are receiving emails from you.

To have success with online marketing you must get your image out in front of as many different sources as possible. In some matters it is quantity over quality. Now, I want to clarify that statement. Your marketing material and images need to ALWAYS be of high quality. The statement refers to venues in which your product/image may appear. The more places you can post your image with a link back to your site the better. This plays on the link building strategies that are common practice.

How to Create A Press Release Strategy To Reach Buyers

How to Create A Press Release Strategy To Reach Buyers

The Web has changed the rules for press releases. Most old-line PR professionals just don’t know it yet. You have to know and understand how to properly create a press release strategy to reach buyers directly.

Because the rules for relating to the public has changed so slowly over the years, practitioners who learned on the old rules have been equally slow to change. It is time to step up and learn the new rules.
-Do you want to reach your buyers directly?
-Do you want to drive traffic to your web site?
-Do you want to achieve high rankings on the search engines?
-Do you want to attract buyers who are looking for what you have to offer?
-Do you want to move people into and through the sales process?
-Do you want to compete more effectively?

Then Read on…

Before the Web, everyone knew that the only reason you issued a press release was to get the media to write about you. Today, savvy marketing professionals use press releases to reach buyers directly.

While many marketing and PR people understand that press releases sent over the wires appear in near real-time on services like Google News, very few understand the implications for how they must dramatically alter their press release strategy in order to maximize the effectiveness of the press release as a direct consumer-communication channel.

The media has been disinter mediated. The Web has changed the rules. Buyers read your press releases directly and you need to be talking their language.

This is not to suggest that media relations are no longer important, mainstream media and the trade press must be part of an overall communications strategy. In some business, mainstream media and the trade press remain critically important and, of course, the media still derives some of its content from press releases.

Your primary audience is no longer a handful of journalists. Your audience is millions of people with Internet connections and access to search engines and RSS readers.

The new rules of press releases:
-Don’t just send press releases when “big news” is happening; find good reasons to send them all the time.
-Instead of just targeting a handful of journalists, create press releases that appeal directly to your buyers.
-Write releases rich with keywords.
-Create links in releases to deliver potential customers to landing pages on your Web Site.
-Optimize press release delivery for searching and browsing.
-Drive people into the sales process with press releases.

The Five Key Points To Successful Affiliate Marketing

The Five Key Points To Successful Affiliate Marketing

The key to successful Internet marketing revolves around five key points. The key points must be performed on a daily basis. Success takes time and determination. All that hype about sitting on your but and making huge affiliate commissions is just that, hype. You get out what you put in to it. Follow these 5 key points and I guarantee you will become a successful affiliate marketer.

Articles are by far the best way to create links to your site and also generate creditability. Articles are a great long-term endeavor; they stay online, in some cases indefinitely. All article submission sites allow you the author to leave a bio. This is the place to promote your site with a link back and sell yourself as an authority in your niche.
Social Bookmarking is a great way to get your site out to many locations. You should focus on creating content that has a direct link to your site. Once you create this content you should book mark the page. This in return creates links back to your website. You will also notice that you will start to develop a following on some of these sites. This is a great way to sell/offer your products and gets exposure for your site.
Bloging is a great resource to help you achieve success as an affiliate marketer. Make sure to enter blogs on a daily basis. Once entered go to a service like ping o matic. By pinging your blog you are helping to get your site out across the web. Your blog is also a great way to promote your affiliate marketing offers.
Classified ads are another great resource to help in your affiliate marketing campaigns. You can create hot sales literature and put links back to your website. You should direct this traffic to your landing page where you will have an opt-in list to capture their emails and help build your list.
Pay Per Click advertising is by far the quickest way to generate traffic to your website. It is important to choose keywords that are relevant to your niche. There are both broad and narrow keywords. Broad for example would be the keyword car where as narrow would be the Nissan Titan 2007 XE. It is important to use a large pay per click advertiser like Google and a small pay per click advertiser like 7 search. There is less competition in the smaller pay per click engines. This helps in keeping the advertising for your affiliate marketing campaign lower.

By following these 5 key points on a daily and weekly basis you will begin to see success in two weeks. Remember everything takes work; you can’t just sit back and expect to start making huge profits without any effort.

How to Select A Niche Subject Area

How to Select A Niche Subject Area

First go to Ezine Articles and look at the top of the first page. You will see a list of categories at the top of the page.
Ezine articles is a huge article directory. People submit their own articles to directories like this, and these articles can be freely used by others on their websites and blogs, provided they leave the resource information regarding the author intact. This is great because we can find ready made content for almost any subject and use it for our purposes, be that on websites, blogs or newsletters.
Also looking through article directories, such as Ezine articles allows us to see exactly what markets are hot, since people are writing articles about these subjects and distributing them via article directories because they are involved in a marketing process in order to attract traffic to their own sites or blogs.
We will use this article directory to help us select a topic or niche for which we will create a blog. I want you to browse the categories, click to see the sub-topics and then click through to see a list of articles with their brief descriptions. You might find something that you already have an interest in, and this would be even better. Follow through with me by using your own selected subject area.
I have clicked on Real Estate and I have decided to chosen Foreclosure.
Take a look at the articles. I want you to choose between three to five articles that cover the subject or a particular aspect of the subject (in my case "Foreclosure") in a brief and concise manner. The next thing is to save each of these articles. Simply open up Notepad on your computer and then copy and paste each article you have selected and then save it within a folder. Now, we have achieved two things: a) found a niche topic and b) found some basic content that we can use for our blog.
The content from Ezine Articles and Go Articles is available to use for free as long as the resource box (that contains the author's bio) is left intact.
Summary
-Free content is available everywhere.
-You can be an expert in any subject in a very short period of time- thanks to resources like these.
-These types of resources are also excellent research tools- you can see what people are promoting and writing about.
